About Me
Emily Fagan, MS, NCC
Professional Counselor Associate
Pronouns: she/her/hers
I am a Nationally Certified Counselor and a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Oregon. I completed my master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Portland State University, and a bachelor's degree in Biology and Psychology at University of Oregon.

During my graduate studies, I spent a year providing mental health counseling to high school students and discovered my love of working with teenagers. I am continuously in awe of the difficulties teenagers face in their lives, and the resiliency with which they face them. I am honored to walk alongside them as they face their challenges and develop their strengths.

I also enjoy working with adults, and have a background in working with clients experiencing a wide array of issues including depression, anxiety, suicidal thoughts, trauma, grief and loss, behavior problems, academic difficulties, career concerns, adjustment issues, and stress management.
During my free time, you might find me making or looking at art, hanging out with my partner and doggos, or spending time at my favorite place: the ocean. Fun fact: I began a career in marine biology only to find out that I get very seasick. Luckily that led me to becoming a counselor instead!
